Matthew E. Przywozny has been practicing law in New Jersey since 1992, with a concentration in the areas of Products Liability, Commercial Litigation, and Employment Law.  He has represented and counseled business entities involved in a vast array of disputes and has defended both individuals and corporations in employment matters ranging from alleged violations of Family and Medical Leave statutes to alleged violations of State and Federal Laws against discrimination.  Before forming the partnership of Strugatz Przywozny & Lichtenstein, LLC in 1998, Matthew was employed by the AV Rated New York law firm of RubinBaum LLP, where he and his current partners co-managed the New Jersey office for several years. Matthew’s practice there focused on commercial disputes, employment litigation, product liability and insurance defense litigation.  Prior to his tenure at RubinBaum, Matthew served as Law Clerk to the Honorable Lawrence Lerner, J.S.C.  Following his clerkship, Matthew was an associate with Donnington Karcher, a firm that specialized in insurance defense litigation and municipal law representing numerous municipal bodies.  Matthew received his BA from Fordham University in 1989, and earned his Juris Doctor degree from the Dickinson School of Law of Penn State University in 1992 where he authored the article entitled: Alternative Treatment of Paraphiliacs: Biological Causes, Anti-Androgenic Drugs and Related Legal/Ethical Issues, which is published in the Dickinson Law Review.  He was admitted to the bars of New Jersey and US District Court, District of New Jersey in 1992, and is currently a member of the Middlesex County and New Jersey State Bar Associations.

Michael D. Strugatz has been practicing law in New Jersey since 1991, with a concentration in the areas of Commercial Transactions, Products Liability, Medical Malpractice, Insurance Defense Litigation, Municipal Law, Real Estate and Criminal Defense Litigation. As a former municipal prosecutor and public defender, Michael has extensive experience representing individuals in a variety of municipal court matters, including DWI, drug possession, and motor vehicle charges. He has represented and counseled business entities in a variety of matters ranging from formation, asset acquisitions and sales, to non-competition agreements. Before joining the SPL partnership, Michael also co-managed the New Jersey RubinBaum office. During his tenure there, Michael was instrumental in obtaining defense verdicts and numerous favorable case dispositions in complex tort actions by employing both a highly successful trial practice strategy and initiating an aggressive settlement negotiation campaign. Additionally, Michael served as associate counsel to the Town of Westfield, advising the mayor, town council and various agencies on a broad spectrum of legal matters. Prior to his employment with RubinBaum, Michael served as Law Clerk to the Honorable Joyce B. Munkacsi, J.S.C. Michael earned a BA degree with honors from Boston University in 1987 and received his Juris Doctor degree from Suffolk University School of Law in 1991. While at Suffolk, Michael served as both a staff member and an editor of the Suffolk Law Review. Michael authored two published articles: Juvenile Capital Punishment and Evolving Standards of Decency: Stanford v. Kentucky, 109 S.Ct. 2969 (1989), 24 Suffolk U. L. Rev. 237 (1990), and Cordless Telephone Communications and the Federal Wiretap Act: Tyler v. Berodt, 877 F.2d 705 (8th Cir. 1989), 24 Suffolk U. L. Rev. 1152 (1990). Michael was admitted to the bars of New Jersey and the United States District Court, District of New Jersey in 1991.
